Thanks again to Kevin Botherway and Peter Williams for CD'ing this event, and to David James for doing the draw even though he couldn't actually turn up this time (some poor excuse about moving house...). Not sure who to thank for the weather but they also did a great job! The forecast for most of the country was rubbish but we had decent conditions on Saturday and even better on Sunday, with a bit of wind to launch into and some great lift despite a few drops of rain.

Best speed time was 16.17 seconds by Dave Larsen. Best distance and a new NZ record was 27 legs by Scott Chisholm - well done Spit!
